Our approach is rooted in radical transparency, offline-first and local-first design, and the conviction that real change emerges through collaboration, not control. All of our systems are co-built, shaped and governed democratically by those they serve – not by distant platforms.

The MAJI Foundation
Age of Now was never meant to be owned by a few. From the beginning, our role was only to lay the groundwork and create a framework for true co-creation.
That is why all intellectual property of Age of Now flows into the MAJI Foundation – an African-led non-profit institution based in Ghana. The foundation is designed as a collaborative structure where ownership and decision-making stay in the hands of African citizens.

33% expert board: African leaders in economics, ecology, education, and health provide strategic guidance.
This balance ensures that Age of Now is not “handed over” but rather co-created together with the people it is meant for – and can never be captured by elites or external actors.
Age of Now Holding Ltd.
To make the early development possible, we are setting up Age of Now Holding Ltd. in Malta. Its role is not to control the project, but to provide a supportive legal and operational framework in the build-up phase – giving investors and partners the security they need to join the journey from the very beginning. Malta offers a trusted business environment, backed by Double Taxation Agreements (DTAs) with over 90 countries and clear crypto regulations under EU law, making it one of Europe’s most reliable jurisdictions for international investors.
The Holding acts as a neutral enabler, helping to structure resources and operations until the foundation has fully grown into its role. Over time, ownership and decision-making naturally shift to the Ubujima Foundation, ensuring that the project truly belongs to the people it is co-created with.

MAJI Blockchain Ltd. in Mauritius is the dedicated operational entity responsible for implementing the Age of Now vision on the ground in Africa.
Built from Africa, for Africa MAJI executes the practical elements:

• ensuring that innovation remains locally designed and locally owned.
